AFTERMARKET WHEELS IN CANADA.....

Hello Canucks! I was wondering if any of you have equipped your Santa Fe with aftermarket wheels? If so, do you have pictures? and where did you get them? I'd like to upgrade the wheels and tires on my w\Wife's Santa Fe this summer. thanks guys! a.

Installing Fog Lights

I am new to this forum. I was wondering if anybody new if the 2006 wiring harness has plugs to accept fog lights if you wanted to install them.
I am hoping to install stock fog lights, but if there isn't any plave to plug them in on the wiring harness I may have to go to a after market setup. Which brings up another question. Are there any good aftermaket units out there.

Ok, so here are the tentative details:

Date: Sunday, August 31st 2008
Time: 2-6 pm
Location: Hutch's @ Confederation Park, Hamilton, ON

I'm planning on 2-6 pm, because that way it will give time for us to wash the cars in the morning, and to actually make it there. Last year it took some of us an hour and a half to make it there from 2 cities over. Plus, 10 am is just way too early. By 4pm everyone's bored because we've been hanging out all day long. I figure at 6 we can head into downtown Hamilton and hit up Hess village, where they have all those outdoor bars. Unless of course anyone has any other ideas.

For those that are making the trip from far away, we can plan a meet up for Saturday, maybe take a cruise out to Niagara Falls, or Toronto. Then go out for food/drinks Saturday night.

So, please post if you are interested. Tell me if you are definitely...

We were planning a road trip to Washington state next week and looky how our dollar is doing. At par with the US dollar. It's been 30 years since we've had that kind of buying power. I remember figuring an extra 50% when converting a few years ago. HHmm parts for the motorcycle, parts for the Ford, parts for the Santy, new tools, cheap booze ..... I'm even going to check on vehicle pricing. I've heard you can save thousands by going across the line.

Poor Americans coming North though. They have to content with a dollar at about par AND our outrageous taxes!

I bought two sets, don't need the second one, these are brand new never installed....they make your Santa Fe look great...fits 2001 - 2006 Santa Fe's...I have a 2004 and it fits perfectly!

Cold Air Coming In

I'm curious if anyone else has had a problem with cold air seeping through the middle console / gear shift area? It is quite annoying, especially now that it's winter, and my cup holder is right there!
If anyone has had this problem, please let me know. Hopefully there is also a solution to remedy this problem.

hi there
i've just moved to canada from england and bought myself a 2002 santa fe. i'm impressed!! already done the now infamous rear fog lamp mod and i'm sure i'm gonna be doing some others.
1 little niggly tho. can someone tell me why the 'check engine' light comes on if the fuel cap isn't screwed on tightly enough?? i nearly made myself look a right idiot at my local dealers!!

so i am new to the boards, ive been a happy santa fe owner for the last 7 months and i wish i would of purchase this amazing suv alot sooner, but here is the problem, i mostly owned smaller cars, cavalier,saturns and so on, this is my first suv/truck and im clueless about which winter tire would be suited for the santa fe, could anyone recomment there personal choices of tires and why ? also prices would help, thank you

Just bought 02 Santa Fe and have a question.
Why would the 02 I bought not have some of the features an 02 should have? Ie tweetes in the doors,
clock over the center not on the dash.
No big deal just wondering.

Since 2 of mine blew and are not covered by the warrenty, isn't that convienent, and they cost $7.50 each and are not in stock in Victoria as per normal. Anyone know where to get these for a 2004 Santa FE 2.7 L engine?

Santa Fe with HID?

Hey guys im new to the forum. I recently traded my 04 tib in for a 06 Santa Fe 2.7l V6, black. (waiting for bank approval right now)
On my tib i had an Xtec HID headlights installed. Which included the h7 bulbs, with ballasts and wirings. The install was easy, no mods required.
So my question is, is there an HID package for the Santa Fe? If there is, how hard is the install? Any mods require to install the hids?
Since i'm used to driving with my HIDS, i would love to get a set for the Santa Fe also.
