Hi all,

Well it is with a heavy heart I have to tell you that today I lost the best friend I have ever had and known...

Scruffy hasn't been too well for the last few weeks and after an X-Ray today the vet advised me that he wasn't going to get better, his little heart
was twice the size it should be and his lungs where in a bad way, plus he also had a tumour and scaring on them...

And not wanting him to sufer I thought it best to let him go rather than just keeping him going for my sake...

He never asked for anything, was always there for me and showed unconditional love, I will miss him dearly...
When gasoline prices rise, consumers often look for ways to improve fuel efficiency. Although there are practical steps you can take to increase gas mileage, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) warns you to be wary of any gas-saving claims for automotive devices or oil and gas additives. I've nearly hit the two lifetime rounds of this vehicle. I monitor this baby of mine like a hawk, and of course, butchered her up during the mods as well. Here are my findings after all this time:

1. During the second transmission fluid exchange, probaby around 70-80k on the auto tranny, and about 120k for the manual, get a tranny and oil compartment hot flush! It's offered primarily at Pepboys and Sears. What they do is they flush the compartments with super hot tranny and oil for 15 minutes to flush out any deposits while the engine is cranked up between 1000 and 4000 rpm.
I have an 04 LX 3.5 that has a rough shift in the morning the first time it goes from 2nd to 3rd. By the time I've gotten to the bottom of the hill and taken off again the next shift is fairly smooth. Has anyone else experienced this? It started about three weeks after I bought the car in Sept. I've tried going easy on the gas, agressive on the gas, manual shifting and none of these helps me get around this.
