			<title><![CDATA[ Hyundai beats Toyota and Honda in initial quality ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I'm starting to see press reports about the impending release of the new J.D. Power intial quality survey.  Apparently Hyundai placed third among all manufacturers, beating both Toyota and Honda!  <br><br>Porsche was first; Lexus was second.  So Hyundai is tops among all mass-market brands in overall initial quality.<br><br>A little more information:  <br><br>This year's survey included both problems and perceived design defects.  <br><br>Toyota products won in the most individual categories.  But the Tucson took top honors in the compact SUV class.  Besides the Tucson, the Azera, Elantra, Sonata and Tiburon all placed in the top three in their classes.  Obviously, the Sonata was up against still competition, so that impressive. ]]></description>

Four of them are in a color called Sonora Gold, two in a color named Green Meadow Gray, two in White, and one in Silver. All come with the 3.8 liter V6 which traces its lineage to the Azera's motor. 			<description><![CDATA[ We, as a dealer, received a phone call from Portland's Rivergate Terminal 6 two days ago. The first canoe load of Entourage minivans have hit Portland. There may have been more than one canoe even because they are absolutely swamped with them. I don't know when we get our first ones but they should be here soon. Hyundai has sold 40,000 Azeras in Korea since its launch in May.<br><br>The revamped Santa Fe also follows the upmarket strategy, and should hit the U.S. market next year, opposite Toyotas Highlander. The company then canceled that plan in August. But at a Thursday meeting in Las Vegas, U.S. dealers were told that the minivan was back in the lineup -- with the same spring 2006 introduction.<br><br>Hyundai also confirmed at the meeting a late 2006 arrival for a stretched version of the Santa Fe SUV that will seat seven. The Korean-built vehicle will be about the same size as a Ford Explorer. 			<title><![CDATA[ Forum member Gator72 ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Don't know if any of you, other than me, knows Bill but I finally got through to him today down in Mobile, AL.  He and his wife are fine and rode out Katrina at home.  They lost part of their roof and some fence.  Funny thing is, they just got their roof repaired in June from last year's hurricane.<br><br>I know we have some members from the New Orleans area but just don't know who they are; hope all and their Santys survived the storm.<br><br><img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/glasses.gif" />TG<br><img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v113/troutozark/troutguytail.jpg" /> ]]></description>
