That'll be the third one that I have had over the 6 figure mark in the last 10 years, so obviously I still love them!
The caravan that I tow now is handled with relative ease for such a big trailer, although with such a high mileage, the rear shocks and springs are a bit tired, so I may fit some air helpers on the rear. No big deal, but I would like to try to keep her in new condition as long as possible. Other than a torn drive boot those are about the only problems we've had with her. About 125,000 miles and still going strong despite the fact that Mrs. Hellonwheels drives it almost solely. Still gets around 21 mpg, peaked out at about 23 mpg a few years ago when *ahem* I was driving it more. Anyway, having never been behind the dash before, are these light bulbs easy to get at?

Starting to show some age, not from mechanical or body issues but the wife works downtown and it seems the car is a dent/ding magnet now.

I have rented this car and been on a few test drives. I love the looks and design but I can't bring myself to buy one because the steering is so strange. If I turn the wheel a little it seems to really "track" towards that direction. The dealer/sales guy said it's called "Torque steering" and it gets less noticeable at higher speeds. Well for be it does it at all speeds. Just seems like a minor tug on the wheel on the highway is going to send me into a spin. Can this be adjusted or is it just a characteristic of this car because I really want one but this is in the way of me buying. I have had Honda's with variable power assist, GM cars with rack and pinion, GM cars with manual steering and plain old power steering but I have never felt anything as dangerous feeling as this. Please let me know if it is adjustable or flawed or what the deal is. Thanks!

I've just bought a caravan!
It's a Coachman Laser 590/4 and weighs about 1500Kg. That's about a ton and a half in old weights!
Dropped my mileage down to about 15mpg (remember that the UK gallon is bigger than the US one!) but as I burn LPG at half the price of 'regular' than it works out quite reasonable here.
So to all the folks who worry about towing with a Santa - it's fine!
Previously I've towed a RIB at about a ton and a quarter - launched it and recovered off a crappy steep slipway so the 'van shouldn't be too much problem on grass.
Anyone who feels that the Santa isn't upto towing should certainly think again.
For info - my (third) Santa is a 2.7V6 auto, 5 years old, 95000 miles and going strong, bought it with 57 miles on the clock. Next car - well, I might consider another Santa Fé in a couple of years!!! 300000+ miles in the last 10 years on Hyundais can't be bad.

It is one of the many Merlot and black versions-we see identical SF's several times a week, and we see more Santa Fe's than any other SUV's. It used to go away, so when I would take it in for service they could not detect an issue. As of recently the sound quit going away and the dealership diagnosed it as my lifters having some sort of issue. They wanted to charge me about $2400 to fix all the issues involved with it. Now I have heard of using additives, such as Lucas Oil, Marvel Mystery Oil and ATF fluid(which everyone says to avoid). Do I still have options as far as doing one of these or am I stuck with the $2400 fix? Thanks for your help!
