I just bought my second Santa Fe yesterday up at Nashua Hyundai in Nashua, NH. I highly recommend them. I dealt with Ron Rondeau, who also sold my parents a 2008 Santa Fe a couple years ago. I can't vouch for other members of the sales staff, but Ron is excellent. Their service department is also very good, and the service manager, Dave Nadeau, is generally very helpful. Compared to some service managers I've dealt with, Dave is reasonable and has never given me a problem having warranty work performed. I actually have to go almost an hour out of my way to get there, but I feel its worth it. If you live in southern NH or northern MA, I strongly suggest checking them out.

I normally don't speak fondly of a dealership unless I am supremely impressed but since this thread is here, you can tell I must be happy.

I was in the Kansas City area for six weeks for a railroad training course and brought my trusty Santa Fe with me. In the time I was in KC, the Santa Fe need
an oil change and an unexpected windshield replacement. The service department gets an A+ in every respect from their comfortable leather couches, vending
machines and spacious waiting area to their staff who take a vested interest in you and your vehicle to make sure it's done right. Not only did they fit my
windshield replacement in on short notice but their final price was around $50 under the original quoted price! I found
myself browsing the new cars on the showroom floor and I had a salesman approach me and ask if I needed any assistance. I told him that I was just waiting on
my car being serviced and rather than follow me...

report good. The one I am considering looking at was serviced regularly and had NO "reported" accidents and/or major problems... My only concern is
it's @ 143k miles. The majority of the vehicles in my $4k-$4500 range have well over 100k. Anyone having any major problems with theirs that have over
100k.

Also this particular 1 is at a dealer priced at $4495, is decent for the amount of miles in your opinion, or would you think less?

Back in 2002 when many of us were offered those 3 warranty extension choices due to the little fib on HP ratings, I opted for extending my engine/drivetrain to
120,000 miles. I figured Hyundai was betting on few people holding on to their rig that long and MAYBE when we got close, we might be getting some sweeteners
on a new rig. Well, my 2002 AWD GS now has 105,000 miles and I'm still waiting for the sweet trade in deals to come rollin in any day now. Maybe I
haven't heard anything since the dealer I bought from went away.

I'm coming close to some major expenses (second timing belt, plugs & wires, another total fluid change out, and maybe even a new paint job). So when is
Hyundai going to start begging me to trade in my 2002 on a new one? I sure wouldn't want to go through a routine timing chain change out like Shup or drop
$ 2,000 in routine maint then have someone total my 2002. No doubt my insurance company would want to call it even at $ 5,000 or...

I would like to keep this posting alive for the purpose of letting people in the NW know about this dealer. This is what happened when we took our 04 Santa Fe
into them for a 60,000 service. We ended up having to take our santy to another dealer to get it fixed after Auburn Valley Hyundai screwed up not only our
motor but a new short block they put in and our transmission case they broke and glued back together and let us drive off and didn't tell us about. They
had our car from 05/05/08 through 08/04/08 in which we had a Hyundai service rep and Hyundai helping us with this and were the service rep had to have our car
taken to another dealer in order to get it fixed. Auburn Valley kept tellind us parts were on back order is why it took so long.

This is what Korum Hyundai found when they looked at our santy.

Just a heads up for people here in the NW. If you need something done to your car don't take it to this dealer.

We took our 04 Santafe in to have the 60 done to it on May 5th and just got it back July 17th.

They did the 60 and the tensioner broke within 20 miles.( thats what they told us ) They have had this in their shop and had tried to fix it 4 times. They have
tried to give it back to us still damaged 3 times. A district service manager came and looked at it the 3rd time and said it didn't need a new motor so
they tried it again and ended up putting a new short block in it on the 4th.

Mind you all this time they made us feel that they weren't going fix it after the first time because of existing problems
with motor and extended warranty. Had to prove we had the warranty and almost came to having to show all oil and filter receipts. Only because ( I feel anyway ) I made...

I've bought a 2nd Santa Fe (2007) from Romero, who deserve a positive comment. Tracy Franklin is fleet/inet mgr and she has been a great help both times, in Sept 02 and May 07. I told her exactly what I wanted and how much I would pay and twice now I've made perfect, trouble and hassle-free deals! In May we sat at her terminal and looked at invoices from around the Western Region in order for me to find the exact car I wanted. I eventually took a 2nd choice on color (now happy I took Silver Blue rather than Slate Blue) because we determined from the regional dealer rep that such a combo as I wanted was not on the market and I didn't want to wait more than another week. Even after delivery inspection and I had driven couple hundred miles, I discovered a paint chip spot on the rack track and a pin head sized rust spot on a hood corner, they delivered me to the airport and repainted it without any questions. Great place to buy a Santy East Side of the LA market!
