Hello all,

First off let me say thank you to all who take time to read/respond to this post. I just purchased an 2003 Santa Fe and I love it! here is my deal...I hate
the stock system in the vehicle. I am replacing it with an aftermarket head unit and filling out the sound with the subs and amp from my last truck (which is 6
months old). Here's my question: What are the basic things I may need to know about putting in the head unit? Are there any concerns about taking
the dash apart? Do i need any special tools? Are there any techniques that other members here have found effective? Where is the best place to get in through
the firewall with my power cable? Where is the best side to run my RCA cables/power/remote down? Also, where is a good place to ground my amp in the rear?

I'm fully capable of doing this project and time isn't a factor, so I'm just wondering some of the ways that any of you guys have done this ahead
of me. i also do...
