It's a Blaupunkt, CD-drive, GPS Navigation unit (we had it installed under the passenger seat but it's designed to fit a DIN slot in the front console if you prefer). A small black antenna (about the size of a matchbox) is installed on the front dash for best reception. Central Car Radio in Melbourne did the installation and removed it for me last year when I was getting the car ready for sale at the end of the Novated Lease. I recommend them for the installation as they know how to work with a Santa Fe after installing my GPS.

If I run across the post, I'll share it with you. Though the part is intended for the U.S. market, I'm sure that partguy can hook you up with it for a reasonable price. Should work on the Aussie model without a problem.

But the SATNAV one is still a bit perplexing, obviously Hyundai Australia could source out a aftermarket option, even if did come with a higher price tag.

I think every car maker is the same, they do different spec models for different countries...

The U.S has the 3.5 engined Santy which I would love to be able to buy, but they don't sell it here so I would have to import it and it would be a left hooker...

But at the same time the U.S didn't have the Diesel Santy...

It is annoying, but I don't think we'd be able to change them... :(

The main thing is, we still have our very own Santy's to love... :D

Aussie models miss out on such features as:
Heated seats
Sat Nav
DVD
Heated Mirrors
Beige Leather
Reverse Sensors
Headlight Washers

I dont know why Hyundai Australia cant offer SATNAV, when toyota, mitsubshi, nissan and so forth can.
