Just had it done and the dealer didn't change the fuel filter. Could be that the petrol system has probably only done about 200 miles since I bought the
car, all the rest has been with LPG.

It just shows that some dealers check things, but don't change them (and charge the customer) if change isn't needed or done.

Horbury Bridge Hyundai near Wakefield in Yorkshire. Excellent dealership.I think that's the 20th service they've done for me in the last six years!

Had my timing belt done before I left and I'm glad I did...it's a great personal reassurance factor. With a new cabin air filter, cost $449. We chose
to skip on the fluids until I get back as I spoke at length about it with the service advisor and he said if it were his car, the timing belt would be #1 on
the list. When I picked it up, I asked how everything looked and he said not to worry about the coolant/power steering fluid/etc. and that it should last just
fine until I get home. He also mentioned that the car appeared to have been very well maintained.
Mine is just coming up on 60,000 miles and it will be five year old soon so this may be its last service at Hyundai.

I'm approaching the second timing belt service in about 8,000 miles. Owing to the fact that I'll be driving to and spending two months for a course in
Overland Park, Kansas and then taking a trip, I'll be racking up around 7,000 miles on the old girl. I think I'm going to have it done before I leave
for the reassurance factor.

I was mildly suspicious of my dealer (even though I worked for them) when they told me my serp belt tensioner bearing was going bad. I asked them what would
happen if nothing was done. They said it would eventually chew through the timing cover and potentially break the timing belt. I paid the $130 to have the
tensioner replaced and shrugged it off. Well their honesty was proven just today when I was on Hyundai Forums with another Santy owner whose tensioner bearing
failed completely. Sure enough, gnawed right through the cover; he proved with a photo.

But for the most part, they are great. Abel is the service manager/my service writer and always has a smile on his face. The guys at parts are great and give
me discounts for working at another dealer. I give them a solid A.

If you can find a good dealer; stick with 'em.

Its hard to find a nice honest dealer nowadays. I had a couple of bad experiences up here as well with the biggest dealer in Scotland so i don't go near
them now for anything.
I had been using a dealer in Stirling for the Santy but they recently gave up the Hyundai franchise so i now trying a new dealer in Dundee to get it serviced.
Quite a distance away from me but they seem good and come recommended and i can drop her off on the way to my caravan.
