It doesn't take much to burn out a clutch. A good friend of mine had the engine in her Chrysler LHS seize and so she inherited her dad's Mazda truck which was a stick shift. Having never driven a stick before, she burned the clutch out in 10,000 miles. She's gotten much better and as far as I know, no issues.

Oh and guess what....

Car's all OK, the two faults I noted are warranty repairs - but apprantley the clutch is on it's way out. Funny I said - when I bought it off you four months or so ago I asked if it should bite that high and your mechanics said "tis normal sir"; and now it isn't normal?
