Today was the first out of pocket repair that I had to do for the Santy. I have owned it for 8.5 years now and have just over 130K miles on my 2001 Santy.

The transmission cooler assembly sprung a leak and had to be replaced cost me $249 but man I can't believe how little the santy has cost me over the years.

I have had things replaced but they were always covered under warranty with no issues from the dealer. Over all I am so happy with the Santy I cant get rid of
it.

I know others...

They fixed everything and cleaned it all up. The service record clearly states that it was their fault. I fully expect to get to 200K miles with the original
Tranny and if I don't I will be going after them for the repair because of this. I never had any issue with the service department in the past at my dealer
so I am not worried. Just don't want it to break down and leave me stranded some day because of their stupid mistake. For now, all is well.

Figures, dealer didn't put one of the hose clamps back on the cooler. Tranny fluid everywhere and tranny quit working!!! WTF!!!! I hope my transmission is
ok.

Here is a pic I took looking down between the radiator and bumper, clearly you can see the line completely off the cooler. The hose on the left is supposed to
be connected to the metal tube on the left!!!! I am sooooooo UPSET right now!!!! Oregon does not use road salt in the winter so we are not part of the trailing arm rust recall but for those who have had to deal with it, I have heard nothing
but positive things. I can't say so much for Lexus and their suicidal ES350 sedan....but that's a story for another day.

Also, dealer said my rear trailing arms are good and they treated them per the TSB. But the subframe in the front was going to be replaced under a TSB or
recall one of the two. At my mileage.............any new parts Hyundai wants to replace..........more power to them!! I am happy to see Hyundai stand behind
their product this way long after my warranty has expired. You won't see the...
