Has anyone had to replace their G-Senor ? I had to replace it after 7 years , they said it was shorted out, that the wires were good and the tone rings were
ok. Now 3 months after the new G-Sensor, the new one broke w/ the same code C1274. They will replace it again based on the assumption it might be a bad part.
But if it breaks again, any ideas why it would break or where to look for possible causes?

this thing ain't cheap. Its $222.00 just for the part + labor and you're looking...

Nope. the first time, it could have but the 2nd time, no way. i saw the part, its self contained sealed so liquid wouldn't get inside it.
the connectors are also protected. they checked the wiring and did not see or detect any shorts. just my bad luck to have it go bad.

this thing ain't cheap. Its $222.00 just for the part + labor and you're looking at $300-400. At 2in x 2in just like a switch. Its located at the base
of your emergecy brake console.
