We thought of going up to see them but the tickets,(ouch) hotels,(triple ouch) and theft that was going on was way way too much for us to want to handle. I'm really surprised about all the trouble in Vancouver as I have always felt safe there. It just shows you that trouble can be where you thought it wouldn't in these changing times.

Canada broke a record with the most gold medal (14) in a winter Olympics and finished often 4th or 5th in a large number of events........

This is spring break for us up here..........and we will hit the slope this afternoon ......not a lot of snow left but we will be outside at least...............
