To clarify,, the door(s) will not lock/unlock with the handheld remotes ? the hyundai dealer said there is something out of order in the car. Yes and no,,, does the remote have an LED you can see flash when button depressed on the remote ? Is the battery in each remote in working order (3.0 volt when test with DVOM) ? Do the locks work proper with the lock/unlock buttons on the driver door ? When you push button on remote, do the exterior lights flash to acknowledge ? my question is: where is the controler in the car???? and what can be out of order??? some ideas?? You will need to visit dealer, and ask the service write-up fella in the aisle if he would first verify that the remotes are indeed outputing an RF signal... there is a SST to verify this with.. it is a small yellow box to detect RF signal, he better know what this item is.. Dead remote battery, new remote that is not properly registered to the vehicle (both remote need to program at same time to the module).. BUM remote,, Bum module, highly unlikely, not seen it yet in Santa Fe.
