Check engine light came on and I tried doing a system clean first to see if it might have been dirty. The guy at the garage suggested that first since it
had come on after a very long trip. Didn't work (but the car runs smoother and seems to have much better mileage). Don't know the exact code. I was
just told it was an O2 sensor malfunction.
Anyhow, it looks as if it will have to be changed. I have a 2002 2WD 4-Cyl so it is accessible on the grill side. I have a few questions though.
1. Is this an immediate replacement, or an ASAP replacement? I'm going to need the car all week and am tied up. Hope it can wait a few days.
2. Is this an easy DIY project for the "uninitiated"? How much is the necessary part?
3. If not, what's the $$$ damage at the dealer's?
