Also, to dear departed friends HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANTA FE FORUM My old Santy had 44k on her when I traded her in, even though it wasn't the happiest of unions, she was a great car and very nice, smooth and enjoyable to drive, I just hope her new owner has better luck... Mine had 1,100 miles when i got it and it now has 59,000 miles on it now and all have been trouble free. Great motor and an even better website. Keep up the good work guys.

Posts: 4108 (04/09/09 18:32:13) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	It's been 7 years for me and the Yucky Green Santa Fe ('02 LX 4WD) with 170K miles. Mostly miles with just a transfer case replacement under warranty at 71K, one new set of OEM BFG tires, one complete brake job and a power steering hose replacement. Plugs have been changed twice and the timing belt twice...last time I did the plugs and belt but never again. Likely the last regular maintenance I'll ever have done as Santy is now back seat to a fire engine red '08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited hardtop with 6 speed manual tranny. TG

I still love it but after all the bad service and a new engine and tranny it just isn't the same. Have 82,000 on her know but haven't decided what to do with her. For now I just take care of her and try to get my trust back in it. shup
