I just don't understand why some folks don't put the basic info in their question or in their forum info.

basic info like what??? where I am??? PA. since a first gen santy is a first gen santy, I figured that the model year was enough for folks to point me to some product links.

Quote: That drives me crazy as well. Quote: The info on the car was fine but if we don't know where in the big bad world you are then we don't know what companies to suggest to you. Anyway i take it PA is somewhere in the USA so mine are no good to you then? Here you go, they are on this page near the bottom. www.teamfalconracing.com/en/products/c163591/c163595/index.html Steff

Try this one.
www.koreanautoimports.com/store/index.php?cPath=31_26 They are very hard to get hold of even in the US. One member had been after a set for a long time before he finally got them and even then he had to get them painted to match his Santy. You can read about all the hassles here if you have not already done so. p211.ezboard.com/fhyundaisantafemessageboardfrm87.showMessage?topicID=1604.topic and here p211.ezboard.com/fhyundaisantafemessageboardfrm87.showMessage?topicID=1585.topic Steff

Thanks Steff...
I'm beginning to find that they are indeed almost impossible to get here. What a frustrating experience. The paint for me is the easy part. I've had great results using Tower Paints custom color cans. You need to call them though because their website really stinks. -J |

Quote: I take it they supply spray cans? Have you ever got a match for the bumpers for the Santy from them and did it match OK? Steff

Re: availability | ||

I have the silver/grey santy like Metal's. I have a spray can that Tower made of the dark grey that I used to re-spray the left rear door trim.
The car had been hit previously in that LR area, and the trim had been sprayed and blended into the front. The factory dark grey is definitely a lighter silvery color than what you get when you mix the paint code. (I'd say the paint code grey is darker, more purple) Anyhow, the custom spray can I had made by Tower Paints matched the color from the body shop perfect, and was lighter than the factory (same as what you folks have been finding) If I ever find these fender flares, I am going to end up painting the plastic trim down the entire side of the truck, and blend the color into the front/rear bumper. I estimate 3-4 cans of Tower custom color, and 2-3 cans of Dupont clearcoat to do both sides and all 4 flares. -J |

If you ever get a set on your Santy, you might want to reinforce the front points on the front flares as they will pull out from the 3m tape if you drive in icing conditions.

A couple of the guys have used windscreen sealer instead of the tape to hold them on.
If i ever paint mine and refit them that's what i will be using. Steff
