As promised, here is a guide for anyone who wants to use a different battery than the ones that fit the santy. I opted for a Yellow Top Optima with top and side posts. Since the battery clamps were too short I needed to lengthen the battery cables. Measure the lengths you need before you start.
Here is the shopping list:

2 Stinger 0 guage couplers
Battery Terminals (I use Tsunami chrome for shows)
Stinger 0 guage wire management clamps
0 guage wire, 1.5 feet of each
heat shrink tubing
Now strip 1/2 inch off the end of the wire. Cut the heat shrink into 2" sections and slip one on the end of the newly stripped wire. Slip the stripped end into one of the couplers and tighten down the clamp bolt as tight as you can.

Strip the other end and attach it to your nice new battery clamp. Do the same for your other cable.

Now cut the stock clamps of the wire at the base of the clamp. Strip 1/2" of the ends and twist them together as best as you can. Slip a piece of the black heat shrink on followed by the clear heat shrink that came with the couplers. Attach the coupler to the wires. Heat the shrink tubing to get everything nice and secure. I enen taped it together for added security. Repeat the process for the other cable.

The Optima is setup so that the stock connections are attached to the front, and the accessories are attached to the top. The silver wire is my + and the blue is -. Again, it's for show so you don't have to go to the extent I did. Last step is to clip on the wire management clips to secure the wires and prevent any movement.

That's it that's all.
