I want them to run off the same switch as the Dome light, I figure that some standard wire taps from Radio shack would do the job. That is what I used to hard wire the underdash neons to the 12V power outlet in the front. Is the voltage the same?

The link on the cardomain site is here , the 2nd page has the marker light in. Unforutnately I didn't take any in progress pics, but the process is fairly simple, and thankfully I am blessed with an eidetic memory (helps being in law enforcement).

I used the Hyundai Webtech site for the technical part.

For safety you don't need to unplug the battery, just make sure that the dome light is set in the off position, seeing as how

1.) First thing you have to do is remove the upper door molding, it snaps in, so you just have to pull it straight down, but be carefull it is still just plastic. Once that is off, you will have to get out the 3 flat plastic plugs holding the ceiling fabric, you will more than likely bugger this up as they are a BIOTCH to get out. at this point you will be able to lightly pull down the ceiling material just enough to see the dome light housing, you don't need to go much farther than that.

2.) In order to pop out the dome light housing, you will have to lever out 2 clips on each side of the housing. All you have to do is, at the same time, pull down on the housing while pushing in with a flathead screwdriver, it should come right out. Unplug the power cable and you are left with just the housing. Now taking any 2 cord wire that you have, use your preferred method of attaching one wire to the positive end and the other to the negative end of the bulb assembly. All I did was pop off the copper flat wire (be careful it is thin) from the aluminum clip that hold the bulb, and wrapped the wire leads around the ends, and viola, you now have postive and negative leads to run to the back. now take the bare end of the wire and run it through the hole for the housing and out the back where the molding was. Plug the housing back into the power and put it back in its hole, it should just snap right back in.

3.) Remove the cargo ties on the floor right by the door on both sides, then remove the lower door sill molding. Now gently pull the side molding away from the body, again being careful. start from the bottom on the dark grey and work your way up. Once you get to the split in colours, you will have to remove one small screw holding the upper side molding to the body. Now continue gently pulling the upper side molding away. Do this on both sides, and you now have the "conduit" wher you willl run the leads from the side markers.

4.) I put the makers just above the fake vent on the side molding, as they point in at a 45 degree angle for good coverage. Mark where you are going to put the put the light, and drill your hole for the post, just be careful of the fabric insulation, hold it up from where you want to drill or you will be cleaning lint from your drill bits. Take off the 2 sided tape and stick her where you marked.now run the wire up the side moldings to the top. Then snap the all the moldings back in (except the top molding, you still need that off), put the door sill back in and replace the cagro tie. Now is the fun wire diagram time.

5.) Go buy some wire taps and snap connectors(use the red ones, they fit the wires, i think they are 16 -20 guage) from Radio Shack. here is your fancy-schmancy wiring guide. You have the 2 leads stick out the top from the dome light housing, on positive and the other negative...

........terminate each end with a male snap connector

That will leave you with 2 postive and 2 negative leads, one +- for each side. Now on the side marker ends, terminate them with a female snap connector. The easy way to test the polarity it to lightly fit the connectors and turn the dome light on, if the marker lights up, your good to go, if not the switch them around. Completly close the snap connectors and hide all your wires behind the plasctic plugs, and replace the plugs, then snap the upper molding back in.

Congrats, your done. The whole process takes about 1-2 hours depending on your confidence with electrical work.
