Ever since I got my santy it has been a little bit of a nuisance to me that at night time when you step on the brake the inside of the back window lights up red. This is caused by a little gap between the glass and the center brake lamp assembly.
Anyhow, I got to thinking what do I have around the house that could fill the gap and still allow the window to open easily. I decided to use a little bit of foam wheatherstriping that I had in the basement and apply it to the outside of the brake lamp housing. It worked great and you can't even see it from the outside since the windows are tinted so dark. The only thing that I am going to try is to find a darker weatherstrip to better match the grey interior. At this point you can't really see it anyhow unless you open the hatch.
