So far, our dealership has received seven of its thirteen promised Entourage minivans. Four of them are in a color called Sonora Gold, two in a color named Green Meadow Gray, two in White, and one in Silver. All come with the 3.8 liter V6 which traces its lineage to the Azera's motor. The trim lines are base GLS, mid-line SE, and top-of-the-range Limited. In comparison to the mule previewed a few months back, a few things have changed but the basic design elements remain the same.

hmm... very classy but no ground breaking as most reviews say. it'll be a good competitor though. i've seen on sitting in the showroom of one of the hyundai dealers for a good month now.

That was my first impression. However, it's not that bad when you consider that a H**** Odyssey similarly equipped will push $38,000 and won't offer the warranty.

I hope that price is not an indicator of how the Hyundai prices will rise, now that they've got a good reputation.

Darn. I was hoping that they would keep the price around the same, but I knew they would start raising the price slowly.
Something that I find really wierd is that some of the Kia dealers here in town are now using slogans like "Why buy a Hyundai, when Kia's are this cheap." You would think that because Hyundai owns them, they wouldn't put out commercials like that. |

Haven't looked but maybe they are trying to boost Kia sales.

Took a look at 3 of these on sunday when the dealer was closed.
They are truly not a MINI van. The interior was cavernous and I especially liked the deep well behind the back seat for storage. I think the rear seats fold down into that well when a flat load area is needed. I also like the standard 2nd row captains chairs instead of the tiny bench other makers provide. I was torn between the light blue and the burgundy color. The third was silver. Stickers ranged between 25k and 29k. |

My wife and I drove both versions yesterday as well as the previous generation sedona. We both thought the Hyundai was quieter under acceleration. The only other differences were how each company has packaged each trim level. It's a shame you can't just pick the stuff you want because everything is grouped together in an expensive package.
We prefered the Hyundai's looks as well as the quieter cabin. Hopefully they will get more stock on the lots and perhaps a few rebates towards the end of this year when it is time to trade in the Santa Fe for something larger. When you compare these vans with the competition they really offer a lot for the money. |
