I have just purchased a camper trailer and treking around but want to know if I need to install a cooling system for the transmission. The trailer is around a 1000kgs and will be short trips 300-400 klms. Any suggestions what to do??

You should be ok without any mods, but what engine/tranny do you have?
8 cylinders are twice as much fun as 4

Either he is out camping for a long long time or the tranny burnt up and he is stuck out somewhere in the middle of nowhere and can't report back in.
