Posts: 4707 (11/28/05 16:06:04) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Remove this ad Not sure if anyone else has heard of this or not, but locally here in Central-PA there is a dealership Harrisburg Hyundai....(in Harrisburg - duhhhh!!! ) that has been doubling Hyundais' 10 year/100,000 mile warranty to 20 years/200,000 miles! This included the Santa Fe's. Talked to a local Hyundai owner who bought from there and he confirmed he got the warranty. Just curious if anyone else has gotten these warranties? Personally, I can't ever see having the car long enough to cover 20 years!! But, the 200,000K is realistic.....interesting. -Edge Changing the world, one Santa Fe at a time!!

They are relatively new, in that they've only set up shop about 1-1/2 years ago. But from what I've heard they are moving cars quicker than most Hyundai dealers. Thats a little creepy in terms of service in my book. If you are a high volume seller, I gotta wonder how well your service department can hold up. They may be good to buy from in terms of deals perhaps but I haven't heard a thing about their service. -Edge Changing the world, one Santa Fe at a time!!

I haven't heard that promotion here though. The only thing I've heard are the free oil changes for life, which are actually 4 a year. MetalMessiah's Santa Fe

You need to get out more and enjoy your Santa Fe. They will only honer 100,000 miles or 10 years, which ever comes first, so you have a year and a half of miles to catch up on. I asked about restrictions / stipulations to gain the double waranty coverage. Here is her response>>>>> Hi Art, my name is Jennifer and I work at Colonial Hyundai of Downingtown. I am contacting you in reference to the internet request you put in to us. I wanted to let you know the extended warranty is offered at no charge to you. The only stipulation is for the last 100,000 miles the warranty work needs to be done at our store. What kind of vehicle are you interested in? Posts: 4707 (01/29/06 13:49:49) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	So in a nutshell, I suppose this promo is only usefull to folks that plan on putting on say - over 100,000 miles over the life of a typical 5 year loan and plan to keep the vehicle a little longer. Then, that'd be an attractive offer. Doubling the years I think would only come into play if you plan on keeping the Santy as an eventual classic auto, and driving it very little. -Edge Changing the world, one Santa Fe at a time!!
