Who favors who for the Superbowl this year? Pittsburgh proved they are a dominating force by defeating the almost-undefeated Indianapolis Colts. Seattle is pretty decent in my book.
Any guesses on scores, victory? Santa Fe -- It doesn't get any better than this!

Being a Cinci Bengal fan, I obviously dispise the Squeelers!!
After 5 attempts to win a SB trophy under Cowher (4 AFC champ game losses, 1 SB loss) they can upgrade from "Chokesburgh Squeelers" to "Cheapshot Squeelers" with a SB win. Ultimately though, I think the Steelers will win. The 'Hawks offense is a bit troubled when Alexander is shut down, and that may be the difference in the game. Can the Hawks move the ball and score without Alexander being a factor??? Even more so worse is I have to listen to all this Steeler crapola from all the bandwagon jumpers in my area!! Andy - How much cereal can that bowl hold??!! -Edge

I am also pulling for the Seattle. They are a well built football team. Plus they have Mike Homgren. I am from Wisconsin and you eather love mike or hate mike and I still like the guy and wish he would of never gone to Seattle.

I'm hopeing that Seattle wins also. I'm not much of a sports fan but you got to love their records this year. I also hope they win because of the bad rap we always get from east coast reporters and such.

Having grown up with football in the "Bradshaw to Swann" and Steel Curtain era, I have to root for the Steelers.
I have enough reasons to enjoy watching Seattle fail anyway. 1. Holmgren bailed on GB so he could show what an inept General Manager he could be. 2. Holmgren's inane call to let Denver score a TD near the end of Super Bowl XXXII. Sure, Denver may have won the game anyway, but Homgren just handed it to them. 3. Holmgren's refusal to allow certain players to attend the White House "meet and greet" after the Super Bowl XXXI victory. He said he didn't want players that were not returning next year to attend. So he shut out Chris Jacke who had been a solid kicker for them, but let Jim McMahon stand there wearing Chicago Bears apparel. 4. Hasselbeck's mouthy comment "We'll take the ball and we're gonna score" after the overtime coin toss at Lambeau a couple years back. (Karma: Al Harris incepted his pass and ran it back for a TD) 5. Seattle played in the weakest division in the NFL. They were the only team in their division that broke .500 for the season. 6. Seattle played decently against Washington, but Washington's offense was overrated once teams figured out how to cover Santana Moss. The game against Carolina was pretty much a joke. Carolina had no running game left which made them purely the Steve Smith show; Seattle dedicated the defensive backs to covering him and Carolina was completely shut down. 7. Seattle has a better RB and offensive line, but Pittsburgh outclasses them at pretty much everything else. But they're still gonna play the game. |

Interesting game. Exciting in the sense that either team could have won, but ugly in execution.
Both offenses looked shaky. Rothlisberger looked terrible and Seattle doesn't know how to manage the clock. |
