The amber plastic piece has slipped and I need to remove the headlight. Dumb girl here, I can't figure it out. I removed the top to bolts and can't find any others off hand, any help is greatly appreciated.

'07 Santa Fe... 5yr-60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty... let the dealer replace the lamp housing if it is not accident damage.

Getting the lamp housing is a pain. They do not simply fall out, you need to get between the lamp housing and bumper cover to jump the housing over the cover, and the end at the center of the car snags behind the cover, tight fit.. even to put them back in requires a smack with the palm to "bump" it back into place.

There is (3) bolts to remove.

REPLACEMENT

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.

Loosen the mounting bolts (2EA) and a nut of head lamp. Remove the head lamp assembly after disconnecting the lamp connectors.

Take care that retaining clip (A) is not to be damaged.

3.	Remove the head lamp bulb.

4.	Installation is the reverse of removal.

You have to get the housing past the bumper cover and center panel of bumper cover, it's a tight fit.
