As I promised a while back, here is a bulb replacement guide for the rest of the bulbs on the Santa Fe. The headlight
write-up was such a hit, I'll see how this helps people out. This guide is for American and Candian specification models only. European market Santa Fes
will be fitted with different lighting due to variation in regulations.
The front side marker lights can be accessed by unscrewing the light unit from the bumper. The front fog lights can be accessed by removing the headlights and reaching into the bumper.
Front Lighting
1. Front Side Marker: #168
2. Turn signal/parking lamp: #2357A
3. Headlamp: #9003 (How-To Thread)
4. Fog Lamps*: #880 (older models use an #881; check before buying)
* If equipped
Rear Lighting
To access the rear lights, remove the two screws holding the light unit on the body and push straight out (away from the car) to the side. The rubber grommet that holds the light in place can be finicky if it hasn't been removed in a while. When re-fitting the light unit, make sure the grommet slides into place first and then push the light back into place against the body. The screws will line up if you've got it right.
1. Tail/Brake Lamp: #1157
2. Rear Side Marker: #168 (Notice: The rear side marker applies to 2001-2004 models only; 2005 and 2006 models do not have a separate rear side markers.)
3. Turn Signal: #1156 ('01-'04) - #1156A ('05-'06)
4. Reverse Lamp: #1156
5. License Plate Lamps: #168 (Not shown)
6. 3rd Brake Lamp (not shown): This is a non-serviceable LED unit. Consult your dealer for replacement.
