Ive got a new issue with my new to me Santa Fe.
When i drove it home, being a detail nut, I proceeded to detail the engine. I power washed it, wiped everything down and so on. Well I got the #5 plug wet somehow (how water gets up under those boots is beyond me) and get a nasty misfire, and so I decided since I was going to do it anyway, I replaced the plugs and wires. Of course this means pulling off the upper intake mani. I am pretty anal about that kind of work and I label EVERYTHING. So I get it all back together, no more misfire and it runs smooth. However, now my 4WD warning light is flashing. I have no idea what I could have done that would have caused that. It was not on when I started the work.
Anyone have any clue as to what could be going on. The check engine light is on, but that was due to the misfire from the #5 cylinder. I'll have it checked and cleared tomorrow, but I dont see the 4WD system triggering the check engine light. If anyone has any suggestions or what I could have done in the process of changing the plugs to cause this, please let me know.
