They replace the PCM. 2 weeks later it's doing the same thing. I ask for a loaner because I have something to do that day and they call me back... "needs a new transmission." So.. I get a whole new transmission under warranty. The service manager calls and I ask... "is my Santa Fe ready ?".. Nope.. the first PCM they put in was bad.. the mechanic didn't know that until he put in a new transmission and it was still slamming into 3rd gear. Ordered another PCM and now I have a new transmission and new PCM all free. The truck drives and shifts like it's new again... Thanks Hyundai.
