Hi all,
New here so bear with me. I've just bought a 2002 2.0l Diesel Auto Luxe from a family friend. I've driven her about three times and she runs well. However, she got progressively more difficult to start until now she won't start at all. I've had a look on the forum (and had some laughs - thanks guys) and I noticed some posts from a few years back about air getting into the fuel line, particularly when the car is parked nose up, which coincidentally mine is. Is the fuel leak a common problem? Are there other known problems re poor starting? The friend we bought her off says he's never had a starting problem. Obviously, with an auto we're a bit stuffed with regard to moving her/bump starting, etc.
If there is air in the fuel line, how does one go about venting or priming it?
Any (sympathetic!) suggestions?

and if there's no d...... d...... d...... fuel in the pipe I doubt whether it would fire up anyway. Guess I'm destined to have her hauled to the local dealer where I can practice my French and attempt to explain my findings and hopefully shorten the investigative process.
