Bought a 2009 Santa Fe SE yesterday. Great condition, only 10,000 miles.
Less than 24 hours after purchase, Check Engine light turns on, I take it right back, and they say the catalytic converter needs replaced.
It was Pre Owned certified and I bought additional warranty so it is covered, thank god!
But, just wondering if catalytic converter issues has come up with anyone else?
Live in Maine, checked out my states Lemon Law and it is still with in the window of legal coverage. (18,000 miles or 3 years from original owner purchase date.)
