Taa Daaa
Yes it is I, the Santa Fe mod freak about to say goodbye to my trustworthy Santy and going for a new Santa Fe.
I'm using Carsdirect (like last time), except this time I am getting the loan through E-Loan and will be trading in my Santy.
My current Santy is low on mileage (only 40800 after 4 years, July 2002 to present) and having fender flares, hood and rear mirrors, chrome galore and rear altezza lights. But something tells me I will not get a good deal on the trade in since I have a dent in the right rear door as well as the fender flare.
Still, even if they (the dealer) gives me less than what I hope they give me, I find comfort that the payments would be lower and I am getting a brand new Santy with warranty and features that make my current Santy look ancient.
So I already got my loan approved from E-Loan and I am just waiting to see if CarsDirect can find me a white Santa Fe Limited with the 7 passenger (option 37) package. Although I really like the deepwater blue, it has to be white since my plates say White Ghost.
Unless i can come up with a clever custome plate.
Hopefully by New Years.
btw, my website will not go away. It will stay up for all those that have the 2001-06 models. I'll just add on a section for the 2007+ and see if i can duplicate some of the mods for it.
